How does your 16 year old grow up to be like this?

Yikes! No remorse. Good thing he hadn't decided to go on a killing spree, or is that coming up next? I hope this isn't serious, but it looks serious enough, I fear it is serious. Maybe scbb1803 can help us out with the veracity question?

EDIT: So very not a hoax. Note: "child pornography" could ( Read more... )

Sheesh... I'd say that I know people like that, but I really don't. There was a guy in one of my high school classes who pierced his ears with someone else's earring for five dollars, but someone like _that_ probably doesn't bother even showing up for public school. And probably wouldn't be able to stick it at my college, either.

Ugh. His voice sounds all normal, too, but it's like he's not really there and whatever the consequences are they won't affect him. Ugh.

I'm reminded of that story where a teen invited some friends to a party over Myspace or something and a similar number of people showed up and trashed everything.

I won't go into details of the actual allegations in this case, but just say you had a party of a heap of teenagers at your home and then consider that a couple of them decide to make use of an empty bedroom. Just say some of the kids at the party stumble in and think it would be funny to take a photo of what they're doing - on the mobile phone they just happen to have with them.

As long as at least one of those on the bed is under 18, then this is enough to constitute making child pornography. If the person with the phone then sends the photo in a message to a mate then it's distributing child pornography.

There are even cases where boyfriend/girlfriend send each other suggestive photos of themselves which end up with these charges.

I don't think the kids even begin to appreciate the seriousness of what they're doing.

If found guilty of either of these charges they will never be able to get a job with children - even with the charges being in children's court!
