Room 527, so late Friday it's Saturday

When the shuttle dropped Jaina off at the causeway, she had no idea what time it was, except she wasn't seeing a lot of people. She was guessing it was late. Realistically, it was probably late enough that she should just head back to her own room and worry about things in the morning, but she wasn't the slightest bit tired

John had fallen asleep early. Such was what happened when you were up at ungodly hours with a droid baby and vague worrisome voicemail. Luckily, Todd was back with his fake parents. Unluckily, John hadn't heard Jaina come in his room.

"Sounds like it," John nodded.

"Not that that's new or anything," he teased.

"I like uncomplicated," she said. "So I've got a cousin now." Really, it didn't get much more uncomplicated than that.

"You get to babysit yet?" he found this image very amusing.

"Like Mara's letting him out of her sight," she said. "Besides, there wasn't time. That was my last stop before coming here."

"Good you got to see him, though," John said. "What's his name? I promise I won't tell Luke."

"Ben," she said. "I've got a holo, but it's in my bag."

[missed_the_gate]

"Then I can see it later," he said, not at all ready to let her go yet.

"Yeah, there's time," she said. "I've missed you."

"I missed you," he admitted. "Even with hearing your voice a few times a day."

"No arrests?" she checked.

[missed_the_gate]

"No," he frowned. "But don't think I didn't try."

She raised her eyebrows, asking, "Oh?"

John raised an eyebrow in return. "You know, streaking through town, stealing rickshaws - the usual."

[solo_sword]

"It's not nice to tease me, you know," she said, hoping he actually was teasing. She still remembered the first time.

"It's not," he agreed. "But I can't stop myself."
