I should be working. Like, I really, really should be working. I have deadlines and I have to Get. Shit. Done. PRONTO.

My morning so far:
- get up
- deconstruct four chapters of almost-finished epic
- email jo_lasalle with deconstruction, get her to hate me with stabbity eyes of hate
- get her to unhate me so we can discuss Tokyo flights
- book Tokyo flights

My cat has... initiative. :) Sorry our weird plans kept you from working. That's THREE people our trip has kept from working today, then, since neither I nor Jo did get anything much done.

Don't give Jo cookies, she's bullying me on Dreamwidth. AND ON LJ!!

We found something in a reasonable price range - still cheaper than yours even with your discount, but right in the middle of Shibuya.

Ugh, the airport... mind you, they usually make sure that things go smoothly anyway. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Also, like, quite srsly, that is still a good price for Tokyo. I would have thought. I haven't gotten hotels like this in London or anywhere...

so hectic @-@;..but yay trip plans <3 luckily finding hrrm...affordable hotels in decent locations in Tokyo isn't too murderous? It'll be so gorgeous when you're there too <3.

Seriously though, look into hostels in Tokyo. Not only are they a quarter of the price (usually around 2000Y/night) they are all very clean and most are located close to major train stations. The ones I've stayed in were immaculate to boot.

We did look into hostels; briefly. But my travel companion is very concerned that we should have our own bathroom, and I'm... happy enough with the idea of my own bathroom not to be putting up too much of a fight there.

We finally found something for around 3300 yen pppn, right in Shibuya, which seems like a reasonable compromise between 'luxury' and affordability.
