Ana had practically been dragged by Nei's sprites, and while she liked the little guys, she really did not want to answer to Rory's lovely little all-call on the journals. She didn't even want to be in the same building as him right then, but she had been settling for the space of a floor between them two of them ( ... )

Hardy shook his head slowly, deciding that perhaps it was time for a short demonstration.

Standing, he brushed his pants off simply out of habit. A step out of the circle of people, and with a simple motion of his hand a red orb surrounded him completely, lifting him off the ground a few inches as green arcs rolled around it. He let it dissipate as not to expend too much energy.

"It acts as a shield as well as what aids me to fly. I'm a bit concerned about how things will go if it gets escalated, as I've noticed it takes energy from me to use my powers here, but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it."

Once Micas saw that people were basically agreeing to her plan, she headed back into the yard and started bringing in bowls of broth for people. There were not quite enough to go around anymore, but as she had already eaten, she focused on those who she knew had not. Her first trip provided Ana and Hex with sustenance. Her next, Nei’ess and Simera.

She did not feel that it was specifically her job to make sure people were fed, but since she knew where the food was at the moment, it was a job that needed doing while the others talked.

Tyr declined the food when offered to him, knowing there was not that much, at the moment, to go around. He had eaten and rested enough to fully restore his energy and would be fine in both areas for quite a while.

Though it was not one of the more active roles, he was satisfied with his assignment to guard the base while the others were gone. Someone had to be here to stop any dangerous wildlife from intruding, and to greet any possible unannounced arrivals from Rory’s broadcasted message. He decided that, while guarding, he would take the opportunity to gather more firewood from the damaged furniture and scout out the building to see what other things could be of use here.
