Niji could see the relief on Ghost's face as they entered the bakery. )

He chuckled and leaned against the table, tilting his head slightly and glancing sidelong out the nearest window.
"Although, come to think of it....I should really get some exercise. Something physically strenuous to work the kinks out and make sure everything's still working properly...."
He actually grinned and glanced back toward Niji.
"Maybe a good run, a climb, or..."
He straightened up, crossing his arms across his chest and letting his gaze trail from Niji to the bakery stairs.
"I don't know. Something'll present itself, I'm sure... Anyway, I think I need to get some food in me soon.."

"Certainly. I should think supervision would be of utmost importance. Wouldn't want anything undue happening, now would we?"
He trailed off, closing his eyes and simply taking a deep, reassuring breath. He still had to get accustomed to his newly repaired lungs being entirely organic.
"Anyway, I'll be here. Don't rush on my account."

Then she swept out the door, a lightness to her step that contradicted her overworked and undernourished condition.

He was effectively alone here, save for one other person, and she had just left the room. He wouldn't deny the attraction he felt, and after nearly bleeding to death from the inside out, Ghost decided that perhaps subtlety was no longer a necessary strong point.
"Not like I'm trying to sneak on-base anymore.." He mumbled to himself, running his fingers through his hair and sighing.
One way or another, things would work out, as Ghost figured. The "family" had to stick together, after all.
Solluna wasn't going to give many more second chances.
