Connections (Complete)
Character(s): Niji, Kororen, Ghost(eventually when Joe gets reconnected), whoever else is hanging in the bakery

Setting: Bakery first floor meeting area

Niji could see the relief on Ghost's face as they entered the bakery, removing themselves from both the plants and the extra people working outside. She escorted him to the table and retrieved his freshly laundered shirt from the counter where she had left it. "We cleaned the blood from it and from the floor, as best we could. Kororen-kun promises he will deal with the floor stain as soon as he is able."
She left her own fresh clothes on the counter, and showed Absol a comfy nook where he could sleep without being in any worker's way. She gave him one pat on the head, surprising herself at the warm feeling she felt toward him. She had never been one for pets, but the pokémon was obviously more than just a pet.
Niji took advantage of the task of keeping an eye on Ghost to sit for a minute quietly and check her journal for new messages or arrivals...or disappearances. To her relief she did not spot any of the last, but there were indeed new arrivals again. She wondered mildly where they had appeared. No one here had reported seeing anyone new. This Wimzle creature was the only one that had discovered the journals' message capability, yet his message was a bit disturbing. He must have survived the gima attack however, since his picture was still listed.
She looked up at Ghost. "It looks like we have more newcomers out there. Hopefully we will not repeat yesterday's events, but I am going to send a message to them." Ghost nodded with his eyes shut, and Niji proceeded to record her message.
