Kelly chimed in from the background, raising a hand as if to ask permission to speak.

"Um... I know how to cook. Some... My Mom asked me to help her out a lot. I could lend a hand too, if you like."

He looked as if he'd been put through the ringer, but the teenager seemed eager enough to help.

"'Sides, may as well make the best of a bad situation. If I'm stuck here, I need to find something to do with myself."

Leirian accepted the basket of fabrics from Ares with a formal "Thank you" and a nod for the others, quite content to leave those who have volunteered to prepare food to do so.

He settled under the tree Robin had inserted Ghost into, removing one of the pinned garments and holding it folded in his lap.

As he relaxed his mind to his task, still trying to give Niji a polite mental distance, he felt Ana wake.

"I find idleness more tiresome than labor," Ares replied to the Hatter's insistence. "But I shall leave the meal preparation to you if you so desire. I can use this time to dress out the guest rooms."

[Niji is out. Ah the bliss of getting clean.]

The Hatter chuckled at Flicker's response, nodding.

"Well then, you can do me a service and fetch me my hat, as well as three cans of vegetables. I suppose we can start with something basic. I'm not sure what sorts of food this world has, but I'm sure it can't be entirely different from the food in the Holy Kingdom."

He unbuttoned his shirt cuffs and rolled them up before removing his gloves and tucking them into his belt.

"Oh! And don't touch the badge on my hat. She doesn't much care for that."

With that, the Hatter turned his attention to the community fire and the cooking implements present. He had previously cooked in training, as part of his survival courses. Of course, cooking canned food was substantially easier than trying to nail down a Bandersnatch..
