Content: An early morning run
Setting: The fountain, on the road, and back

Adobe had woken up a bit more sore than usual, her sleep a little less than properly restful, but it was certainly not the first time she'd woken up in that state, and she was positive it wouldn't be the last ( ... )

Niji lay sideways, snuggled against the gimatree, blanket wrapped around her for warmth. Comfort had come being near Ghost. She had been afraid she would dream of the oni of Desire once more, but Ghost's mental presence kept her safe.

She had worked later than she probably should have, but it was satisfying to have gotten everyone safely settled. Little Riolu had taken to the young Kelly, but Raichu and Absol had stayed with her. She made sure to find tasks they could help with to keep them distracted. Even now, she could hear Absol's low rumble of warning as her Pokémon guard noticed the people stirring about the commons.

Time for me to face the day, dear Ghost. She opened her eyes and stretched a little. It should not be long before Kororen is ready to heal you. The hopeful thought stirred her to movement. There was still time for her to use the bathhouse before everyone wakened if she used cold water to clean herself ( ... )

By all means, don't let me stop you. Hopefully I'll be out of here soon. Not that I mind being a book end, but I'm starting to feel...Strange...

Ghost's mental dialogue trailed off, followed by the feeling of his absence. He had returned to a full, resting state. No doubt just waiting for someone to address him again. Or, perhaps, to let him out.

Ani looked up as other people stirred, a returned wave to Lady Niji and a grin for the androgynous military woman. She did have more of a figure, seen up close, and lovely golden hair. And eyes. He would have considered that trait not quite human, but he'd seen what genetic engineering could produce. His Robin had purple eyes, after all.

"Not at all," he extended his hand with the grin. "I'm Captain Duncan, but you can just as well call me Ani. Hey there, Pritz. You coming too?" He offered Pritz his hand, same as he had Lessa inside.

Though awake for about an hour, and feeling anxious about the time left before the conferences, Ares had not been inclined to go out on her own this morning. Instead she lay quietly under her quilts until she heard the sounds of activity in the park.

When she stepped out of the antiques shop, she had a large woven basket hooked over one arm and filled with clothes. Ares spotted Kasuga gathering water from the fountain and walked briskly towards her. "Lady Kasuga," she called out as she approached.

Her voice dropped to a tone softer than she normally spoke with when she reached the woman, not quite conspiratorial, but a volume anyone at a distance would be hard-pressed to listen in on. "It was my thinking that you might wear a different dress each day we are hosting this conference. As our hostess, I feel we would do well to present you richly."
