Nothing new here. New roommate is working out well. Easier to sleep "at night" when your roommate works the same shift and is sleeping as well. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to make it to the gym for the first time since I left Fort Dix on June 6th. I was able to jump on a scale last night though. Left Ft Dix at about 179....down to 175. I realized something as I was coming back from my lunch break. I'm in Iraq, in the middle of a combat zone, just off of a highway US Troops have affectionately dubbed "The Highway of Death" due to all of the IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) planted along the shoulder.
