Trying burying it in a dish of salt for a period of time--I usually do mine for 24 hours.

Or pass it through all the elements with the intention of cleansing it. That is pass it through fire (candle flame), dip it in water, bury it in salt/earth, and pass it through incense smoke or wave a feather above it~

There is also another way I've heard of that mentions freezing something for a period of time but I don't know really much more than that. These are the ways I typically tend to use, the first being the most common for crystals :)

I would advise against freezing gems, most don't react well to rapid or dramatic changes in temperature. Also depending on the type of crystal I'd be wary of putting it in salt.

However, I'll will definitely second the smoke and water suggestions, especially running water, and the feathers seems an especially good idea for fragile stones.

It's very hard for me to see when it's full moon since we only have 3 windows on 1 side of our tiny "house".

You could probably google moon phases to find a schedule for the rest of the year's full moons. Some wall calendars even have them labeled.

As far as charging it with positive energy, you must have a strong intention. When I charge my pendants, I hold the pendant in my hands and imagine them flowing with brilliant light. Metaphysical energy is amazing and meditative. Go some place you find sacred and bless it with the energy there along with your own and realize how different and wonderful it will feel. Greetings!
