Since waiting around for Xpyne to do her thing has not worked too well with these things in the past (AnimeExpo 2008 and Yaoi Con 2008 con posts still none-existent, btw, yeah), I figured I'd better at least get the report part out of the way before strangling the photographic evidence out of Xpyne.

her pictures were quite good, so between your story and her pics, it was a wonderful peek at your weekend

Yes, I was really please with how the new costume photographed, the fabric we chose for the blue robe was perfect. :D I will try to get Xpyne's pics up before too long! <3

I've been kicking around the idea of doing Kanzeon for a year or two now. I really should buckle down on whether or not I will. ToT)

that being said, I was really nice seeing you and Xpyne, even though we really didn't get much time together. :(

The new costumes were amazing, as usual. I'd really love to see you guys do Gaiden!

Yeah, well you were so busy, we didn't take it personally, and we did get to chat with Lauren and the delightfully drunk April, LOL.

Eeee, lolol, no, not lame, we love being able to feel a little bit like "celebrities" once a year, haha. Though we were definitely glad to be able to spend more time with you this year, and that you were a little less shy. ^_~ ♥!

Like several others have commented, it definitely ends up being more about who you're spending it with, rather than the con itself. That said, this is one of the most fun cons we've been to, when we can hang out with so many internet friends from all over the place.

And yes! I think she tweaks/perfects it a bit each year, so it's really quite fantastic by now. And out of makeup/costume, she's appallingly adorable as well. X)
