I'm visiting family right now in Saint John (about an hour away from Fredericton, where I live) and I've been reading a couple of coffee-table books on the most beautiful cities and museums in the world. It's neat to see which ones I've been to, so... I'm going to make up my own meme.

I've lived in Toronto for five years now, and I think it is extremely beautiful. There's impressive architecture, gorgeous parks, a wide variety of extremely colourful neighbourhoods (to be fair, a few, like Chinatown, can get too colourful in places) ... the question I'd be asking is, "Why is Washington, D.C. on the list?" because outside of the big tourist attractions, there's not much of anything worth seeing in that city.

I guess when I think of T.O. I think of the waterfront, and there's not much to speak of. It doesn't have a very eye-catching downtown, unfortunately, compared to other big cities.

Argh! You gave me an earworm!

Hmm. I should explain. I had an earworm a couple weeks back when someone mentioned "Boston" - I heard a song with that in it immediately after they mentioned being there, and the song stuck. There was one other city mentioned in the song, can you guess what it was?

Here, contract the earworm for yourself and learn the answer!

The National Gallery is great. It turns out that you can rent out parts of it for special events, so a couple years back my company held our Christmas party there. It was great! We had a lot of fun. And yes, it was awesome. Definitely the most memorable Christmas party we had at that company!

Cam got married from there. The room below the room with the water fountain. It was a nice venue.

Toronto's one of my all-time favorite cities! I love Toronto ^_^
