Once upon a time I watched smallville, but then I started hating the main character and his love interest so I quit. But I would suggest checking out Stargate: Atlantis - my anti-drug and cracked out fandom and also I'd suggest the 4400 which currently has 3 seasons out on dvd with season 4 starting sometime this summer. Then compare and contrast with Heroes becuase there is lots overlap.

I've seen a few eps of Stargate and love it, and I have the first season of The 4400 on my computer but haven't watched it yet. Your Heroes comparison will definitely get me to watch it sooner rather than later. :)

The shows I picked that I watch, I don't watch regularly. I don't watch any show regularly but Torchwood and Doctor Who.

And as for Harry Potter: I am a big fan, but I'm not in the fandom because it scared the hell out of me, so it's most likely I'll make one post about it. Two tops.

Good to know about HP. I wanted to gague the fandom-ness of my flist to see whether I should hit up a few HP friending memes before July, because I for one intend to go mad and would like to have some company. I promise you I'm not one of those scary fans, though. I have 0 interest in fanfic and I think that's what makes the fandom so scary. I hope. ;)

I'm highly obsessive over Harry Potter, but yes, the fanfic is probably the core thing that scares me. There are just so many pre-teen (or people who act pre-teen) fans that terrify me. I've been a fan since I was 10, but I've never considered myself part of the fandom.

I'll probably go crazy about it too, but not loads of posts; more like last time, with one post and manic discussion in the comments/other people's posts.

I'll also die of utter depression that it's finished :D

I will be SO SAD when it's over. ;_; I hope to re-read all the books before the 7th comes out, which means I'll probably start posting a lot whenever that happens about random things that don't make sense or that I like a lot, etc. I'll post about the release party I go to, and many thoughts about the new books and movie. It will be the HP summer of love!

yeah ok, the stupid poll cut me off. i do not mean to say that dirt is the greatest show i have EVER seen (the way it cut off implies that) but that it is the greatest new show i have seen in a while.

also i just thought of it but didn't put it on the poll - the class! this is the best half hour comedy to come out in a while. they struggled in episodes 2 & 3 but found their footing again. if you can ignore all the jokes about the girl's husband who is so obviously gay (which are getting tiresome i'll admit) the cast is strong, the story lines are varried and interesting and i can see this being a show that gets up there with the greats like seinfeld & friends.

I've seen some mentions of The Class elsewhere. I don't think it airs in Canada, but I can try to download it. I like that they seem to be my age. ;)Thank you!

i am one of only TWO people that answered this poll that watch popular?!?!?!? what can we do to get this out there?? this is one of my top 5 shows of all time. i have gotten completely sucked into youtube simply because a couple people have most of the 2 seasons on there. we need to get your f-list to check this show out, because they are missing OUT!!!

Okay, PLZ link me to Popular season two! Only season one aired in Canada, but I absolutely loved it. I've NEVER seen seasons one or two. O.O Awesome that it's on You Tube!

oooh. i have to tell you before you watch it. season 2 ended on a big cliffhanger and then it was canceled so there is no answer. i had forgotten that and watched it on dvd with my ex and she just about maimed me when season 2 ended and she knew there was not going to be any more! :P

not all of each season is up on youtube that i have seen but you can of course get all of both seasons on netflix ;) dawn152 has the majority of season 1 mostly it's in 5 parts so you just have to choose the next part it's mostly like episode 1.01 x 1, x 2, etc... it's pretty easy to follow. she has a bit of season 2 too.

there was someone else that had some eps but i can't remember their username and doing a search i really only find dawn. still she's been pretty good about UL requests. if you can rent it i would recommend that especially for season 2.
