Haha, it's totally the Dark Mark, and just random in general. What does the aurora borealis have to do with "Season's Greetings" anyway? Maybe it's like a nondenominational version of the Star of Bethlehem? Signifying the coming magnetic storm rather than the birth of Christ? Praise be to solar wind!
