1. I've been cleaning my room all day, which is AWESOME and long over due. I didn't let myself log on until I was done (for today), but now I'm exhausted. It's so not fair

I have a really great Nano premise but I'm stuck beyond that. Hopefully I won't be forced to insert numerous makeout scenes to make up for the lack of plot.
Makeout scenes are always welcome additions to any book! :D But seriously, you can do one of those Nano novels where you're winging it most of the month. I think that's probably what everybody does anyway. You're ahead of the game with a great premise!
Good job getting housework done! Heh, I don't think we've swept our dorm room since we got here...which is mostly because we don't have a broom. A broom would be useful. ;)
Yup, the Jo snubbing was much needed. I liked her on VM, but she's just too obviously a desperate attempt at a love interest here. Go Dean for not taking her up on her offer!
Dean's not that desperate! Hopefully there will be an interesting and believable turn in their "relationship" rather than just having Dean suddenly acquiesce. Yuck.
LOVE your icon. LOL!
I got a lot done yesterday, and just spent another hour tidying. Tonight I hated every moment of it, though, but it looks better. I'll spend another hour or so tomorrow and hopefully get my room at least appearing tidy before the craziness of Nano! :D
Bleh. Dean suddently giving in to Jo would make me puke. I really hope they make her more three dimensional by the time they actually pair her with Dean. Or they could just kill her off...either way. ;)
love Alona Tal and all, but Jo really is a horribly developed character (in that it's so obvious that she is the chosen love-interest for Dean this season; seems she's being forced on viewers and Dean alike).
I couldn't agree more. I was conflicted watching "Simon Said" for exactly the same reason - Alona Tal was good enough to de-bland Meg, but the material she's given as Jo just plain stinks. So far, she hasn't served much of a purpose other than get established as a blonde Dean-lite. You can cut out all her scenes so far this season and still not take away from the plot because she's been so inconsequential. I'm somewhat dreading this week's episode, which promises to have some Jo-time. Have you seen the "director's cut" clip on CW's site?
And I completely agree with you. I just watched the clip you referenced, and she just seems like some lame groupie hanging off Dean and following him around. More in an assertive persuing way rather than epic patheticness, but it still doesn't reach satisfying character development. Alona Tal is awesome, but it's too bad she didn't have better lines.
She is totally a Dean-groupie. Not that I blame her, but if this is what TPTB have in mind for a perfect foil - who, like Cassie, seemed good on paper but became a small disaster in true application - I really wonder where they're going with this. Sammy's gotten better girls, for crying out loud. Giving Dean a junior hustler to babysit is just sad.
I loved the expression on Dean's face when Jo put on REO Speedwagon. XD
...And then he was singing it in the car. O.o *sigh* I just hope that this is developed well, but we haven't been given any indication so far that that's likely...
"I don’t want to nitpick, Tom, but is this really your plan? To spend your whole life locked inside a mall? Maybe that’s OK for now but someday you’ll be out of food and guns And then you’ll have to make the call I’m not surprised to see you haven’t thought it through enough You never had the head for all that bigger picture stuff But Tom, that’s what I do, and I plan on eating you.. slowly"
