Heh; lately, I prefer layouts sans frames, but first and foremost to me is always, "Which is the most classy/elegant and best on the eyes?"

People are writing fics for Sherlock Holmes, Tudors, Pride & Prejudice, and other fandoms that are, you know, based in the past with the characters having cellphones to call and text each other. And I don't mean modern AUs. I mean, in their time period, they have cellphones. And the fic authors think that it's historically accurate.

I do too, sometimes, but I find them helpful for browsing through large amounts of information. ffffff. Function of frills. The pink is almost garish in contrast to the gray. |D

Which would you choose if they came in both colors?
