Happy birthdayyyyy, a_lonewolf!!!!

May you sparkle brighter than a vampire on this most sunny of days, and may your husband and dog shower you with attention and presents like one, despite whatever protests you put up.

Awww...thank you, Kristin! So sweet of you. Speaking of vampires...have you seen it yet? I flew my sister in for the weekend to see it with me and we've been obsessing over Robert Pattinson ever since. LOL.

No, I'm going to go see it next weekend when I'm at home and the fangirls have died down some. I don't think I could handle being trapped in a dark room with that many twelve year olds right now.

I've heard the sparkling is amazing, though.

I'm kind of in love with Robert Pattinson because of all the subtle bashing he does in his interviews. Poor guy did not know what he was getting into...I wonder if he's cursing that New Moon got greenlit yesterday.

You should read these.

We went on Friday night and not only was it full of 12-year-old Hot Topic clad girls, but there were also grannies and housewives...women of all ages. There was much squealing and "whoo-ing" in the audience before it started, but they were rabidly shhh-ing everyone once the movie began. It was not quite as annoying as we thought it would be. LOL. It was actually kind of fun to watch it with the hard core fans. The whole audience definitely laughed at various points b/c the movie is replete with LOL-worthy moments. I'm happy they're making the next one, but yeah...poor Rob Pattinson. On the other hand, he may be able to get more roles he likes in the future because of his sudden fame.

I remember reading somewhere that the plan was to shoot the next two back-to-back, so at least he'd be able to get them out of the way? And this one's getting generally mediocre reviews, so I don't think it will hurt his career any--the popularity will overcome any negative talk. How was his accent, btw? It sounded fine in the previews, but if he managed to carry it off through the whole thing, I'm sure that will help him get more Hollywood roles as well.
