So its currently about 37 C in my living room.  The fan is on but it is just circulating hot air around.  And to just make things absolutely peachy, my daughter threw up about half an hour ago on the carpet.  The carpet has been scrubbed, obviously.  Copious amounts of febreeze have been thrown on the carpet afterwards and it still stinks

It wasn't nice. I couldn't get away from either as my computer is in the living room and today I was working from home!

I have re-dosed with febreeze today which seems to have just about got on top of the smell. I go on a trip for work tomorrow for a couple of days so hopefully it will be clear by the time I get back home.

Why is it that vomit smell lingers so much?

She is ok today. I think she might have had too much sun yesterday. She played out in the garden from 8am until 6pm and only came in for meals.
