The Puppies made another attempt to game a system last week, but it fell apart rather hilariously.

The first notice it got was a lot of very negative commentary all at once on a negative review of one of the oberpuppyführer Vox Day’s collections; Lis Carey left a note about it in File 770‘s comments section. And File 770 also found a post about it

You're welcome. It's a pretty coherent chain of events, but I hadn't seen a collection-of-events-in-order summary, so I thought it'd be good to write one up. Then, of course, I stumbled across John Wright's recent commentary, and thought the two would go together pretty well.

Typo: Patrick Nielson Hayden (that is to say, the first family name (surname) ends in "sen", not "son")

It should be Nielsen, not Neilsen.

The URL to Making Light has the correct spelling of PNH and TNH's surnames (except for the missing space).

(And there's also a spelling reference just before the comment box on every post on Making Light)
