My plan: Also seeing Wreck-it Ralph! And emailing various trad musicians to ask for permissions to use their tunes on short album.

Cool.

Something else I'm doing today is working on a performance of my rearrangement of a particular classic trad tune from a jig into a tattoo, so other people can hear it. No, wait, my story gets better - but not yet. :D

I'm mostly wondering who, if anyone, is reading the story. I'm not even joking about it. At all.

After reading it? I had a pony dream. I HAD A PONY DREAM. Woke up with it, in fact. That's when I knew I had to post about it.

Part of it is that most singularity fiction is pretty terrible. You get power-fantasy wish fulfilment and you get OH NOES EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE FOREVER. This one straddles some fairly interesting lines.

It's a pretty fast read for its size, and I think worth it, but yeah, it's a... novella, I guess? Somewhere in there. Not a short story.

This may be the most delayed non-spam replay I've received to a post, btw. For a moment, I thought your account's password had been broken. :D
