The next Death Chimney appointment isn't until Monday, so we will be lighting a lot of scented candles this weekend. What is the strangest dead thing you have found in your home? I just learned that most houses have 3-4 snakes living in the walls at any given time, but they don't come out because they hate the smell of humans. I don't know how much ( Read more... )

Oh, that's really cool about Angelina Jolie! I've actually heard that Jodie Foster does that all the time - that she rarely even reads parts written for women anymore, because (she says) you're not going to find anything interesting - so most Jodie Foster roles from the last ten years are apparently like that. So interesting.

Re Salt info: That's awesome! I have always thought it would result in pretty nice casting/writing if people wouldn't write specifically male/female roles, but instead just write a kick ass role and then get the best person you find in casting.

I mean, obviously this wouldn't work for all scripts, and you'd probably need to tweak the names after casting, but I still think it'd be neato.

That would be cool. Then you'd also inevitably get a diverse array of lead characters in terms of race as well.

Those casting spoilers for SGU make me very happy as well. And to think, a month ago I had no clue who those two were.

And I wonder if my friend Harry knows that about Salt since he is in it (assuming that his teeny tiny uncredited role made the final cut).

That's awesome that your friend is (maybe heh) in Salt!

Yep, I'm very happy with that casting.
