So it's been forever since I posted on here, but I was talking to someone and it reminded me of Livejournal! So how is everyone? I see a lot of you are still posting as religiously as you were previously, so the community obviously is still alive and well

That sounds like an amazing job! What kind of schooling do you need to take to get into that field? I've always wondered as I see postings for 'story developers' and such and wonder if I could do it.

Very late reply, sorry!

My schooling had little to do with getting hired. I was hired out of the community by one of the developers already on the team (who also, a long time ago, got into the industry the same way).

However, my Economics degree has come in handy here and there, as game/decision theory helps with certain design tasks.

Right now, I am sort of leading the design on a new facebook game, I'll point you all to it when it comes out :)
