Back from Vacation

I am just back from vacation.  My sister lives at a little resort at the Colorado River on the California side, across from Arizona.

Because my asthma is so bad when hubby was visiting her in January, he noticed the little place next door to her was for sale and that seemed a good place for me to go in winter when my breathing is the worst.

wow, what a beautiful place to have bought, it looks like a great place to visit - and you have your sister next door :))))

I'm sorry your asthma is so bad, it must make you dread any approaching winter!

*Hugs*

Oh yes, I hate winter. I love that my sister lives next door. She comes out and says, "hey neighbor" it is awesome.

Glad you like it.

OH NENA :D It is so great to read from you again! I was kinda afraid that something might have happened to you O_O

Your new winter residence looks awesome and beautiful. Great views *sighs* I hope you are feeling better out there! *sighs*

I bet the animas love it, too ?!

Oh sweetie, I am fine, but thank you for worrying.

This is the same place that I was last year when I sent you all of the post cards. Remember the Thelm and Louise trip that we talked about taking together?

I am doing well.

It will be too warm for the pets and as Buddy is too old and not doing well we are travelling separately for now.

MISS YOU TOO!!!

Wow, what a great bit of change to your world! I'm *huuuugely* excited for you, hon! (Though I'm sorry to hear about your asthma. As a fellow, but likely not-as-bad-as-yours asthma sufferer, I wince on your behalf)

Yes, it is a lovely change. I like the desert very much. Because you can see for a long way and can see the horizon. See the sun rise and set.

Where I live in the woods you can not see either of those things.

My asthma feels much better when it isn't so cold out. Does that make a difference for you? I take lots of meds to control it.

It looks nice but a little deserted for me, how far is it to the nearest town?

One town about 15 miles to the north and another 30 miles to the south.

Phoenix, Arizona about 3 hours away.

I enjoy the deserted-ness of the place. To me, that is the attraction.

Thank you. Yes, it was lovely. And it is always nice seeing family. Having my sister just next door is a huge bonus too.

Asthma did feel a little better, thanks.
