Back from Vacation

I am just back from vacation.  My sister lives at a little resort at the Colorado River on the California side, across from Arizona.

Because my asthma is so bad when hubby was visiting her in January, he noticed the little place next door to her was for sale and that seemed a good place for me to go in winter when my breathing is the worst.

Hello, my dear friend, welcome back and I hope you are well.
I'm sorry that you have asthma but it seems that your new winter place is helping to make you feel better, hm?

Wonderful pics, my Dear, my fave ones are #2 and #3; the lovely old-fashioned bench looks so inviting...

Thank you very much for sharing, Dear, and I wish you a nice week!

Oh yes sweetie. It is nice to be back. I hope that I am more active too. The winter place was very nice last week. I got on the plane Monday afternoon 85 degrees. I got home and it was 40 degrees and in the morning it was snowing. BRRRRRRRR-cold!

I like pics 2 and 3 also. One of my friends told me the trick to getting good pictures, is just to take a lot of photos. That is definitely my method. :)

I also hope that you have a lovely week.

Exactly. A great place to chill even though in the summertime the weather is frequently over 110 in the daytime. But that is the beauty of having the watercraft.

Play on the river and jump in any time it gets too hot. Thanks.

Thank you. It is very low key. In fact I was there for a week and didn't even put on makeup. I figured, what the heck? Who's gonna see me anyway? LOL

*hugs back*

And thanks for doing the prompt for me. I wrote a drabble for 'time'. I'll do the prompt this week. :)

It looks so nice, especially the sunset picture and the thinky bench. It's lovely that it's right next to your sister too. I hope you and Mr Softbluebuddy have lots of wonderful times there ♥

*hugs you again 'cause I miss you*

*hugs you back - tightly*

It is a pretty low key place, but that is what makes it so relaxing. Sis and I have been going there since we were 11 and 13 years old. It has a lot of sentimental value. We used to camp there as kids and that is where we learned to waterski. Lots of really good memories.

Right now the hubby and I will be going individually. We have 4 elderly pets and our dog isn't doing so well. As long as our dog Buddy is around one of us will always be home with him.

*hugs you back - again*

I'll try to be such a stranger.
