Those last few paragraphs were heartbreaking. How much more can this poor boy take? You weren't kidding about the angst. I wonder how the item that he touched at One (Item 1407) affected him -- did it? I think Misty is a wonderful companion for him, and was not surprised when she was drawn to him from the beginning. Ianto needs something constant in his life to repair the damage, but Jack's leaving didn't help matters any. I am looking forward to next week when we find out how Ianto reacts to Jack, John Hart, and everything else.

Hullo! Just saw you latest comment as I was replying to this, so let me address that one first - yes, absolutely, this will be updated. I'm afraid I don't have a regular updating schedule (depends on what kind of workload I have) but at the minimum there should be an update a week. It's completed, so no worries about it remaining forever incomplete ( ... )

I just read both parts and omg it's so beautiful.

Misty is lovely. Psychic!Ianto is fantastic, subtle and not gratuitous (and oh so secret).

Yes, Ianto loves. Period. That's why he and Jack connect, 'cause Jack loves (period) as well.

Thank you! Misty was fun to create and write, I'll admit; I fell a little in love with her.

Psychic!Ianto - thank you for picking up on that! That's actually an important Plot Point for later (actually, starting from the next part) that I was attempting to foreshadow... so it will get quite overt. I hope that doesn't drive you away!

My fannish interpretation of Ianto is that his defining quality is loyalty, especially when directed at one person in particular (Lisa, Jack). And he does wear love well, doesn't he?
