Good to see you again, Leofric. It's been a long time.

((OOC: I need to PM you to work out the backstory between them. Will do that now actually.))

Too long--I almost didn't recognize you. You're very, er, grown up now.

((awesome! I may not be able to respond for a few days, but I'll keep an eye out!))

I'm heading to the Trip after the ball. Stop by if you get a chance. I've got a young friend with a big nose I'd like you to meet. I think you're better suited for him than certain other barmaids.

Especially since those other barmaids will likely be busy.

OOC: I'm serious! As a writer, Emmaline sounds PERFECT for Allan! A good girl, but attainable. A "nice" girl, but one who's had her eyes opened to the world a bit. Idealistic, but pragmatic. Not a bit age difference, like there is with Elizabeth. And armed, which I would think could come in handy.

If I were presented with these two characters and told to do something with them--which I haven't been, and which I won't, because it's not any of my business--I'd make Allan smitten, and send him off to woo, and maybe make Emmaline the path to his redemption.

ooc: haha good point. Well they're bound to meet, but there's really no way to tell how meetings are going to go until they happen. I mean, we kinda expected certain reactions out of other meetings and they went completely differently.

Howdy! We've probably met, though I was likely drunk at the time. I'm sure you were nice though =)

I recall seeing you. A lot, actually.

Perhaps not a lot, I mean, we aren't at the Tripp every night. Just... occasionally.

Oh, hi! I don't think we've met, but we've probably passed each other on the street or something.

I don't believe we have. But yes I'm sure we've seen each other. I'm always walking around the market when I don't have to work.

((OOC: Sorry about deleting. I was logged in on the wrong account *facepalm*))

Wait, your father wasn't the one who...this would be a very bad time to mention that it's one of Vaizey's favorite stories. Because I do respect good sword smiths, so that is a loss.

Right.

(OOC: Hello! Welcome :D)

I'm glad my father's death could provide such amusement for the Sheriff. Not. But thanks for your ...concern.

((OOC: Hello! Thank you!))

Well, I felt bad laughing afterwards, if it makes you feel better.

*slits your throat*

And yes, I'm very comforted in the fact that you have the ability to feel anything.
