Argh.

I've been listening to ABC AM radio (ha, I know) and apparently Alan Brough has gone health-reasons dietary-only-vegan. He had on a female guest who wrote a cookbook called Rock'n'Roll Vegan, and one of the questions he asked her was about whether alcohol is vegan ( Read more... )

WTFWTF? I hope her book doesn't sell. I need to find out more about vegan alcohol on the vnv site, at least wines seem to have to label the filters used these days! But they aren't made in animal skins, that would be so FILTHY. Gosh, she is silly.

Oooh, I went there for the first time on Wednesday :) They have a vegan gluten free chocolate cake but if you order it make sure you share it between AT LEAST 2 people. It's probably enough for 4 people!

I had a dream in which someone was offering me alcohol, and I had to point out its unveganness. They didn't believe alcohol was non-vegan, even though the bottle said in 1cm-high writing "Filtered traditionally; with fish-bladders". Damn dream people!

I don't get the whole yeast=animal thing. Grrrr. I didn't even hear it, but that woman vexes me!
