I somehow knew that birds were "housebroken" and would poop so the stuff went outside the nest like onto a passing walker...like me ;)
Hope Doris doesn't do more than eat their food since you will replace it and the daddykiller will stay away from the fledglings once they start trying to fly.
I'm thinking of rigging up some kind of hammock under the nest when the little 'uns get big enough to fly -- I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it! ;D
