The Irish Rovers! They used to have a show on the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).

LMAO, see, I can't figure out if those men in the videos are actually the Irish Rovers, or just four guys lip-synching to a Rovers CD! FOR THE LOVE OF SHAMROCKS, WHO ARE THEY? XD

Oh, man, the Irish Rovers! My grandpa used to be president of our county fair (which included boatloads of perks to the only grandchild living in the hometown, but that's another story) and the Irish Rovers came to play in the early 70s! I remember listening to their albums with my mom and not quite getting the draw. I imagine if she heard some of MY music she'd have the same reaction. Now I'm all about the Rovers, especially come St. Paddy's day!

Eeeeeee, I went back to YouTube just now and randomly picked an Irish Rovers video...and it's the unicorn song that my cousin had on a 45 record when we were kids! I've never forgotten the lyrics -- we played the damn thing so many times that they're emblazoned on my memory -- but I never knew who sang it until now!

How cool is it that you got to see those guys perform! See, now, if your county fair had been near my town, you could have come over and danced around the room with Cousin and me as we played our collective Rovers records!
