considering that you claim this poster is attempting to "shove it down your throat" that gay people are "here" or "oppressed", if you were gay, would you also not be as angered with the greater number of posters that "shove" heterosexuality down your throat? you don't want to deal with a poster or two that sells homosexuality to you? i don't want to deal with a poster or two million that sells heterosexuality to me.

Also, I wasn't able to get that file to open, so if that unlocked the hidden message that made it all make sense I'm sorry. But remembering what I can of the movie from the time I've seen it, there isn't really a connection there. Whatever.

But the original connection I made to Chasing Amy was actually the idea of being afraid of not what I don't understand, but what I do understand... sometimes we all find out things that we don't really want to hear.
Sometimes I just feel like I see the bigger picture... and some people are just too busy being wrapped up with pins, buttons, and flamingly gay lifestyles.
Anyway, the sound clip you couldn't open was Kevin Smith explaing what it means to be "Chasing Amy." Essentially, Amy gets told off because anger is a great way of dealing with something you're not prepared to deal with it.
