This story is full of these moments. I had to stop several times just to think 'oh, hey, she got it', and the best thing of all is that you do it without sounding pretentious,

i was so worried i would come off as pretentious! i mean. i write about carpets that talk. its so weird and gimmicky. but i am glad it wasn't that way for you. \:D/

...leaves me hoping that it's not Pete who gets up frist, just so he isn't the one to do it.but i don't want him to be the one left behind, either. even in my mind i want to protect him from the bad influences in his life. brandon acts like such a jerk in interviews sometimes, and he seems like the type who'd really do that, really insult someone like that

Oh, I really enjoyed this. I'm amazed and impressed by the way you managed to make all three sections so dissimilar in terms of voice, and each voice fit the part tremendously well. I loved the floating POV in the first section, which was stylishly pulled off, and let me tell you, I don't say that lightly. Your THS section made me want to read more.

I really loved this bit in the Gabe/Joe section:

I’m just tired, he thinks, of things meaning things.

William could make you believe that your entire life could be reduced to a series of behaviors that get you laid: every movement unpracticed, but always leading somewhere. Borrowing money straight from your pocket, making sure to graze your hip a little. Holding microphones too close to his mouth, one hand on his stomach. Taking too long to tie a scarf around one leg, a pale strip of lower back showing.

Lines turning into patterns.I'm not sure how to really express why I loved that bit so much. Maybe because it expressed this complicated yet

i'm glad you picked up on the bitterness. i was afraid people wouldn't respond well to my description of beckett because i don't particularly like him a great deal -- i think he would be very tiring and difficult to be around if you were around him all the time. he is a very high maintenance boy. hahah :D

So looking at the summary and pairing I wouldn't normally click on this (but I must also say when I saw Wentz/Flowers I honesetly thought you meant Pete Wentz and, like, roses or marigoldes or something and that was interesting enough!), but it's you and your writing and I can never pass that up. And I'm so glad I didn't, it's lovely and soft and interesting and makes me think, thank you.

but ah hah hah. flowers. pete wentz and roses will always lead to ryan ross, possibly naked, but there are lots of other things that could lead to ryan ross naked. most certainly.
