Sorry for not updating sooner, guys! I was going to a few days ago, but every time I'd go to LJ it was "down for maintenance"? What's up with that, LJ? :P

Anyway, I've been kinda busy since coming back from A-kon. Not just with getting my podcast up again (see previous entry for the "first" ep!), but just a lot of crap that needed to be done.

I love your Arare cosplay! And OMG, I love Cathy from the Ranma dub (the only dub I've ever loved as much as the original). That's so cute how you were "Aiya!!" to each other! ^.^

YES! I love the old first few seasons of Ranma dubbed just as much as the original <3 One of the rare times that happens, lol. But yeah, she was just...so awesome. Meeting her was a real treat, it totally made my weekend.

Funny story...almost everyone else was getting her to sign MLP stuff, I was the first to bring her Ranma items to sign. After Zack & I were done meeting her, we went to leave and one of the autograph staff volunteers came over to me and was like "I just gotta say, you totally made my day--hearing her do her Shampoo voice was EPIC and it totally brought back memories, I haven't watched Ranma in years!" XD Haha, I was like "YEAH DUDE!" and we high-fived. It was pretty awesome. X3

Yeah, new beds are always awesome. Moving them in, not so much, but it's worth it! <3

The Lain poster is actually really nice--they printed it on heavy cardstock so it's nice and sturdy. They were only letting people take one of each, or I would've tried to grab more of them, lol!

Haha, Zack keeps telling me I should try to organize an Animal Crossing meetup or panel or something for A-kon. I think that'd be fun but I dunno if I'd have the time!

Aww, but the UK has some great stuff that I wish we had! XD lol, the grass is always greener on the other side, right? ;)

I still would love to see the UK someday ;3; It kinda reminds me of Seattle (lots of rain, really expensive, hipsters everywhere...lol). Also I'd wanna be a huge fuckin' tourist and do stuff like see Abby Road. XD;;;; *hides*

Yeah, America has lots more cons in general, though since we're so huge! Comic cons, anime cons, Star Trek cons, MLP cons....o__O So many. But that doesn't mean they're all good. Quality over quantity! heh. ;D

I'd say you should come visit the Dallas area, but it's hot as balls in the Summer, and Dallas isn't as cool as, say, San Antonio or Austin in some respects...Dallas isn't bad, though, and A-kon and AnimeFest are cool at least!

To visit other towns, you have to go take your picture in the photobookth on main street, then you have to go talk to the little Monkey at the train station and say you wanna visit a "faraway" town. If one of your friends has their gates open, you'll see their name and town as an option to go to. :3 We can set up a time for you to visit my town if you like!
