HAHAHAHA!!!

I work tech support, and am subjected to this all the time from callers. I don't care about the story, tell me what I can do to help you. The faster you can do that the faster I can help.

LOL, I am SO BAD at feigning patience (also, I can't fake empathy, ever, and this exacerbates my basic impatience) on the phone.

The temptation to just hang up on callers who get passive-aggressive, or belligerent, or just plain rude and abrupt... nearly irresistible, some days.

I can't stand the type of people who need to tell a story full or odd information in order to ask a question that has nothing to do with anything they said.
