I've just come back from the temple. I'm not sure if I believe, but it's still a comforting thing to do.

I had a nice time with my sister, and now I'm back on campus, waiting for break to end. It's so quiet here...I'm getting work done, and practice, and no waiting in the gym, but still. At least I've been able to take to Kite almost daily. It ( Read more... )

So, I've managed to acquire a boyfriend as a semi-permanent attachment, at least until the mistletoe infestation is gone. I'm glad I never went in for the stuff much myself, now. My world has narrowed to three things: swimming, studying, and procrastinating to avoid studying. I'll be so glad when end of term exams are over, but at the same time? I talked to Rumi today, and I have a couple loose plans for break. Mainly, I'm going to spend a few days with my sister, aunt, uncle, and cousin in Kyoto, then...well, I hope we can still be here over break, because here is where I'll be. Our school took third in the meet yesterday. Took second and third in my events. We're a very lower-classmen team, and the two other schools were very senior-heavy, so I have a feeling it'll be a different story next year. It's going to be a different story next week, too ( Read more... )

So...the swim meet on Saturday. Apparantly the boy's swim team now has fangirls, because, it seems, mostly naked guys are a good thing in their books. But, if nothing else, we'll have a ready-made cheering squad built in, which is nice.
