From Wikipedia:Celebrity photographer Andy Gotts is noted for his magnum opus 'Degrees'. This was a coffee table book inspired by the game, the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Absolutely gorgeous lighting. Cate Blanchett is always stunning, of course, but I think he has really highlighted her striking bone structure. She has a kind of luminous quality in this picture. So lovely, thank you for posting. I'll have to look up "Degrees"!

She is just so heavenly. I also don't recall seeing her profile often in photographs (usually it seems to be front-on or 3/4), so I really enjoy seeing this particular picture of her; stunning as ever, of course! :)
