Back when I attended the same religious school as Llama, I was also very anti inter-religious dating/ marriage. However, after several lonely and depressing years, I tried it. Now, I'm married to a very nice man of a different faith than my own. Realizing how lucky I am that he is of my species makes me feel much better about the situation. Thanks, Dear Snuggly Llama, for putting this in perspective. ;-)

He isn't a vampire, hot though they may be this season. As to alien, nope-- he was born in California. ;-)
