Pouting, he said, “Then maybe I’ll just go down to the station and pay this guy a visit.”

“I’ll come,” Dick offered.

Cassidy nodded.

“No, you won’t,” she said sharply.

Oh sassy but happy Veronica. Oh what a difference. I love this, your fics make me giggle and squee like none other. And what a beautiful world this one is.

I love that Logan managed to save both Meg and Veronica from that Dunkin. And I just love Lilly, recognizing the changes in Veronica and still loving her and wanting her to be happy.

Veronica's great too, it's nice to see her snapping with the guys, giving as good as she gets. And eeeeee, the moments between Logan and Veronica are the sweetest, I really liked the part when he figured out who's attention she's been wanting.

And the Lilly and Logan dance was awesome. I can't really see them getting over what she did if Logan found out, that's not realistic to me, but at the same time it's nice to see them being civil and both not backing down in being there for Veronica, they both love her so much.

Totally enjoying this... though I'm glad I'm reading it now and not a month (or a few years) ago... I only just saw Fight Club for the first time (I know, I know) and I miraculously stayed unspoiled for the big twist! I might have had to hurt ya ;)

On to part two!

Keith gestured Logan into the house. “You went all out, didn’t you?” gesturing to the flowers in Logan’s hands, the new tux and the limo waiting outside. “Trying to win my daughter’s heart?” he teased.

Logan smirked, “No, yours. The flowers are for you.”

“How sweet,” Keith took them, playing along with the young man’s joke. He pulled the card from the bouquet of red tulips and he smirked as he read, “‘Dear Sheriff, please don’t shoot me for taking your beloved daughter out. Love Logan.’ You really shouldn’t have.”

“Just covering my bases.”

Loved it! I could so picture that exchange! :-D
