Okay, I probably had thoughts about Lost before, but then I watched the Merlin cast rollercoaster adventures, which I had somehow NEVER SEEN BEFORE, and HOLY SMOKES THAT WAS DELIGHTFUL.
Never? Oh no! It saddens me to think that anybody, Merlin fan or otherwise, should have to go through life without experiencing that video at least once... glad that I could, ahem, broaden your horizons. ;)
(Relatedly -- WHY MUST WE WAIT SO LONG FOR THIS SHOW TO RETURN??! Everything has been making me pine for it in an odd way. Combine that with the perpetual pushing-off of RH and what we have here is a very sad BBC-crack-costume-drama-free lifestyle.)
It was so jarring to see the young Danielle-- aside from looking different, she just seems so normal and *happy* and actually a sweet person. Which, when you contrast that to what she's like when we meet her, just accentuates how batshit crazy she had gone.
It's particularly eery to think about all her teammates who are smiling at her and who clearly respect her as a leader, and how she's going to kill all of them. Oh, Danielle. Who dreamed her up, anyway, and how are they such a genius?
I hope we get to see the regular Danielle actress again! But even that desire pales in my desire to see JIN BACK WITH SUN! I feel eggzackly the way you do about seeing him alive again. Yayyyy!!!
I know, the time jumping is such a double-edged sword! On the one hand -- yaaaay for seeing all of my old favourite now-dead characters, back when they were happy and carefree. On the other -- oh my God they are so so so screwed. D: D: D:
I thought she looks like Danielle! I mean, she's far too young, but being marooned alone on an island for 16 years after all of your friends have died horribly and your baby has been stolen probably prematurely ages a woman.
Sawyer's emo face is a killer. In other news: this show is DESTROYING MY FUCKING SOUL, send help. *cries*
Actually, I think I agree more with you after this week's episode -- it was probably just the initial shot of this round-faced, rosey-cheeked little thing at the end of the episode that made me go, "Whaaaat??" But, I don't know, throw a rifle in her hand and make her go slightly bonkers, and I'm like, "Oh, Danielle, there you are!"
This episode made me 'ship' Juliet/Sawyer even more.
Yay, glad I'm not the only one who has been totally loving their teamwork as of late! Much as I am anticipating the reunion of our on- and off-island factions, I think it is kind of cool that we're getting some "B team" action in the meantime.

I called Danielle before it happened because I was like- man with the time jump we could visit some characters from the past who are dead.
I also loved Jin being alive!!!
