So. Lost stuff.
- Okay, I know Ben is usually my most favourite character of all time, but sometimes I forget that he is really just sort of a bastard, yeah? Maybe it just stands out more now when he's actually expecting people to listen to and trust him on the level... Watch where you sleep, my friend, unless you want Kate to blow you up in the middle of the night. Just sayin'. It's been known to happen.
- I don't know why, but the high speed rowboat chase cracked me up so. damn. much. I think it was maybe just the way it was filmed, as if they were gunning it down the interstate at 100+ mph, but... yeah. LULZ APLENTY -- although it would have been way funnier if, after they jumped, their boat disappeared. I mean... not that I want them to be stranded in the water to die or anything. Because that would be sad.
- ...Except maybe they could still survive and be rescued like JIN! OH MY GODDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This episode was kind of going along so-so for me, some necessary emotive bits and joining up of storylines but nothing break-my-brain awesome, and then SWEET MARY MOTHER OF GOD JIN WHAAAAAAAAAAATWHATWHATOMGAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. I guess I kind of want to punch TPTB for making me bawl my eyes out repeatedly while watching "Ji Yeon," those bastards, but mostly OMGOMGYAAAAAYAYAYAYAY. Also: damn, Sun's gonna feel awkward. :/ Oops. BUT NOW THEY CAN BE HAPPPPPYYYY (EVENTUALLY) EEEEEEEEEE.
- Speaking of married couples upon whom I wish the happiest of endings -- Rose and Bernard, anybody? When are we going to hook up with them again?
- GODDAMMIT IF MILES DIES I WILL SCREAM.
- Danielle! Looking... nothing like Danielle, ha. But still! She's cute! AND SHE'S DANIELLE!!! Once again, though, the jumps are making me all mopey because any excitement about seeing old favourites is just another reminder that everybody there is going to die. :( :( :( (Although, ha -- I just got one of my friends hooked on Merlin, hurrah, and while giving her a brief fandom intro I HAD to send her the infamous
BRADLEY DOES SOME RL CAPSLOCKING video. Now when I think about characters dying on Lost, though, I have Bradley and Colin's "we're going to die" ditty playing in my head. Hello, doomed French scientists! "You're going to diiiiie! You're going to that great big roller coaster in the skyyyyyy!")
- Usually love-multi-sided-figure drama makes my head explode, but I actually really enjoyed it this week for whatever unknown reasons. It causes me pain just to look at Sawyer's pained emo face (seriously, that is some possible-damage-inducing Grade A intense brow furrowing going on there)!! And Kate and Sawyer both being all fake-stoic, "S/he's gone now and it doesn't matter! *tear*"! And then Jack all, "Sawyer isn't dead!" and "We have to go back and help him!" and aww, it's so sweet! I also continue to dig Sawyer and Juliet and their well-matched pining.
- I hope full-length podcasts come back soon. I miss them. :(
- SON OF A BITCH IT IS SO COLD OUTSIDE. No, this has nothing to do with Lost, but it needed to be said.
