A blanket drapes over him, and Jack steps literally out of the air to the floor, folding his hands gently over the slender shoulders and leaning a little against his back.

"Kevin, how long have you been in here?"

He leans back into Jack, quite unperturbed by this development.

"You're falling asleep," the Chain says with a gentle, amused laugh. "You would've woken up with a crick in your neck if I hadn't come in here."
