Yes, he's still in the library. It's been some time now, and Kevin is just about falling asleep into his book. -

Kevin is in the library, pouring over a heavy book written on chain theory, looking for anything possible on how to break contracts. There are more recourses for the human than there are for the monster, it seems, though that shouldn't surprise him. No one seems to care much about the well being of chains.
He looks up when he hears footsteps -

sugar is sweet
At Yuca's doorstep there's a box of clumsily home made maple candies. And a few roses in a glass, for good measure. Kevin is leaning against the wall around the corner. -
violets are blue
He hears Break is supposed to like sugar, and one morning he spends hours in the kitchen. He prepares every sweet recipe he remembers how, and some he doesn't, from a cookbook on the shelf. He nibbles a little of everything.
Sweet things? Really? -
roses are red
The only place he's been able to hide for any length of time so far is the centre of the rose garden. No one else seems to have the patience to work their way through the shrubs, and if he sits on the grass then he's out of sight from all the mansion windows, so no one knows to come looking for him ( Read more... ) -
