Although, on the flip side, I think I understand where that paragraph is coming from in the sense that the "P.C." aspect of holidays has gone waaaaaaaaay too far. The holidays are being sanitized and blurred to point that they are becoming meaningless or identifiable to any particular group and that is a shame, so much so that people have a cow when they see "Christmas Trees" for sale instead of "holidays trees".

As an example, that's ridiculous. Christmas trees are for celebrating Christmas, for Christians. To call them anything else is to also display a level of intolerance towards Christians that is unacceptable, which seems to be a trend. We don't ask other religions to change the name of their items (like "menorah" to "holiday candle holder"), so I think Christians should get the same respect for their holiday, which is my take on that paragraph only. You're right about the rest!

Now, I don't know if you know that I am a hard core atheist, but that's not the point here. I find that the people who are 'walking the walk' are not often the ones non-believers notice. It's usually the loud, scary ones, and that's sad. This man in England is to me, a grand example of 'christian'. He did this because he thought it was the right thing to do.

I am hoping that someday, we won't need labels other than good human bean and bad human bean.
