Orientation Madness / How Did I Get Here?

What a crazy few days it's been. From Monday morning through Wednesday afternoon, I did orientation for my new job as a lab tech with Maxim. It was an odd experience as lots of things weren't normal and they bombarded me with so much information that it was nearly overwhelming. Yea, it's gonna be a funny schedule. And to keep it, I'm gonna need to be on the schedule all week, all the time. It's going to be odd going to sleep at 8 AM and getting up at 4 PM from here on out. But, as I've been telling myself, this is a short-term thing. I don't see myself doing this for more than a couple years max. But then again time will tell. Maybe I'll grow to love this simple little job and it'll work out. Who knows!
