It's been about a week and a half since my last entry, and it's been one of those weeks that really just has been uniquely horrible.

I was sitting there during the interview and I remember it hit me that I felt sorry for the guy interviewing me. He was pushing 50 and just relished in talking about how competitive and bullish the place is and how the old dogs won't give up any selling secrets to the new hires. Why would you tell a potential hire that? That's why there's only one of these stores in Oregon while Best Buy is expanding and flourishing: They're too busy busting each other's game to consider expanding or being better businesspeople. The place is a dead end.
