More Odd Dreams...

I think some force is trying to tell me something. A couple weeks ago, I had a very strange vivid dream and lately I've been barraged with them. Last night, I was once again besieged with bizarre realities. I like to write them down and talk them out in hopes that a reason or conclusion would present itself

That is a very strange dream, very vivid and frightening. I know that feeling you're describing when you wake up and you swear the dream/nightmare is real, and you have to be thankful it's not when it finally wears off.

I read somewhere once that your brain doesn't know the difference between reality or dream until it literally begins to destroy the memories of the dream shortly after waking. It's a very fascinating way in which the brain works to actively destroy memories and wipe the short-term clean. By the end of the day, the dream could totally have been erased. It's wild.

That's really creepy---it's intriguing too. The mind has interesting ways of preserving itself, keeping itself safe. That probably explains why I hardly remember my dreams now.

Ohh yea. The only reason I write about my dreams in my journal is that if I didn't have a record of them they'd be lost forever. Some of them impact me so much that it would be a shame to completely forget them.
