And yeah, this fic is huge. It's not as long as the entire Roses saga, but that's three separate fics, technically, even if they follow one another. This is probably the longest thing I've ever written in one go o_O It's even longer than The King's White Falcon. (I still think Falcon is probably the best of them all--and that has more of the wedding customs stuff, actually). But Jaffar just wanted me to tell his origin story...
