Hi! Really glad you enjoy the goodies. I do worry sometimes when I get a lot of likes but not reblogs and wonder if I've done something wrong! But it's really great to know it's all appreciated.
If you've got any requests as to what I should upload to the masterpost next, I'm all ears. I really don't know what to upload because I don't know what's easily available. For instance, I haven't bothered with Caligari and Casablanca because those are easy to find. I've got some of the rarer silents and some of the really gorgeous early German sound ones, but those have no English subs and I'm not sure if people would be interested in them (even some of those feature some of his best acting and he gets to be so dashing in stuff like The Black Hussar... sigh).
Again, glad you like the stuff on offer! Hope the Jaffar/Princess porn has been satisfying, too. *g* I know I'm the only person writing/drawing it, but I really wouldn't be surprised if a lot of women had been doing the same thing way back when, in the privacy of their own homes.

Wow, thank you so much for your offer to upload more films, that's really generous and a trait of a true fan! As far as I am concerned, any Connie movie is a gift from heaven and I want to watch them all:D Silent, German, French, English, subs, no subs, whatever, I'd watch it - I am fortunate enough to know English and German and understand spoken French (a bit). But even if I didn't, the thing with Connie is that you really don't need to know the language to get hooked

Yeah, I hear the phrase was just a publicity slogan on MGM's part, but it must've been true at the time. Never been that fond of shouting it myself as I'd rather gush about him rather than fight for him (whether it's in the sense of fighting other women or in the sense of trying to show the world what a beautiful thing he was)! I know it's a thing for several of his fans, just not me. I'm the sort of pathetic perverted bastard who is more likely to be found writhing on the floor screaming "TAKE ME, TORSTEN BARRING" or gasping "JAFFAR!" in the throes of erotic ecstasy. Eee, someone noticed the belly! I wanted to give her a properly soft tummy:3 I don't know if it shows properly in this, but her skin was just so incredibly soft in the movie I'm not surprised a wicked grand vizier wanted to faceplant in it:O I am not sure if Duprez was that great an actress and the princess was certainly just there to look pretty and gasp a lot, but she was beautiful. Absolutely ridiculously beautiful.

You remind me of when I was a teenager and would notice that on some of our teachers at school when they were wearing long skirts and dresses--those beautiful bumps many middle-aged women would have. My eyes would be drawn to them and I remember thinking how beautiful they looked because these women were in no way overweight, but by that curve you could tell they had lived well and had had children and that they were in good health--there was just something so warm and gentle and maternal about a tummy like that. I don't know if they would've been ashamed of those bumps, but I always found them beautiful.
