His real hair is so much nicer than the tatty wig they made him wear in the TVM. Big Finish have given Colin a new suit, surely they can give PaulDoc his proper hair back?

His real hair is awesome. That TVM wig was a thing of pure terror. I heard he hated it as well, and that's not a surprise, really. I mean, what the fuck.

I hereby offer to Photoshop awesome hair on Eight if they let me. I can't promise this won't include Jacobi!Masters giving him epic Time War goodbye fucks in the same picture, however.

On behalf of the voices in my head, I second, third and fourth this motion. Epic timefucks preferred :))

Right; it's time I contacted their agents. I used to live in the Bristol/Bath area and I knew McGann lived in Bristol, but I never managed to kidnap him for a saucy photoshoot:(. But, ah well. If at first you don't succeed...

Yes. Beautiful. Truly.

Shame about the ugly feet.

Speaking of a vampire biting him: Oh Lord, you just reminded me that I used to write a series of stupid-ass (comedic on purpose) fics based off that horrible Queen of the Damned movie. I think I just called it "The Marius and David Show" which was pretty much a domestic sit-com. ...with gay vampires.

HIS FEET WERE CURSED BY A JEALOUS GODDESS OR SOMETHING. I don't care. *hearts flutter around head* he's so bloody gorgeous.

And HA! Yes. You're better than Anne Rice, easily. Hell, I even threw that book across the room in rage.

LOL, that's what my BFF said she did with Memnoch the Devil.

I think I only read through Queen of the Damned anyway. Sad, because I really liked The Vampire Lestat. Ah well, I at least I came in after she had her religious breakdown and anti-fic rage, so I couldn't be massively disappointed.

FFS, let him play the Doctor on telly again! (with his real hair)

We should all write to the Moff.

Yspls. It'd actually be hilarious to see him and Eleven driving each other absolutely nuts.

OMG, yes, a multi-Doctor ep with Eight and Eleven! *flail*

They're both kind of equally flaily AND old-fashioned gentleman-y and very very silly. The bitching would never end:)

Oh, BTW, kassie_opia made me watch Misfits. In it is a young Irish guy called Robert Sheehan, who reminds me a lot of a young McGann. Probably the eyebrows and those light blue eyes.

I should probably check that out. I can see why you'd find a resemblance, yeah, even though he's a lot darker and poutier:). No-one is as McGannesque as Stewart Bevan, though. I've lost count of the times I've heard people go "is that one of the McGann brothers?" when they see him in 70s stuff. *g*

Yes, a bit darker and poutier. :) Though his character in Misfits is delightfully exasperating and annoying -- a real wanker, which works really well with his angelic good looks. :)

I'd never heard of Misfits until kassie mentioned it, but I really loved it, and I'm happy it's getting a second series.

So... Jo married Eight's spiritual brother? She has good taste.
