The DVD is coming out soon, I think. Plus, it's all over the internets, obviously. I would have died already if I'd had to wait this long to see the damn thing.

Not only does it have John Simm with a rapier, it also has beautifully choreogrpahed and fairly realistic-looking fight sequences using aforementioned rapier. Something that is vanishingly rare in modern tv/films.

It's one of the unfortunate consequences of becoming a historcal fencing geek, a lot of films involving sword fights lose some of their charm when you know how wrong the swordsmanship is. :-/

Yeah. And the scenes aren't even all that extensive--I wish we'd seen more sword action. WHICH IS CLEARLY WHY SIMM NEEDS TO COME BACK AS THE MASTER AND HAVE THAT SWORDFIGHT WITH THE DOCTOR. I will keep repeating this until it fuckin' happens, damn it ( ... )

What?! Dammit! Though I might have hurt something had I mainlined that many eps the way I did the four we got.

I am now going to live in a different world in which we had an entire 14 episodes of sexy Sexby. The rest of you have fun over here.

Yeah, it was supposed to be a longer series. I COULD HAVE DONE WITH MORE SMEXBY, TOO.
