"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."
-1 Corinthians 13:12

An epic 45eugenia/snowgrouse co-production and a Doctor Who/Life on Mars crossover. Rated R for nudity.

Sam Tyler's seeing things, again. And the Doctor, the man who keeps running, finally dares to look back.

Woo and yay at BOTH of you. Much keyboard smash and unfage. That is apart from how amazingly moody and atmospheric this image is.

Sam looks exquisitely torn, and the Doctor looks like he's done (or is about to do) something VERY WRONG.

HE MINDWIPED AND MEDALLIONED HIM AND SENT HIM TO 1973. Or something. Why the fuck he'd leave the Master in a year where he was already making trouble in his Delgado incarnation, I just don't know. But he did.

And glad you like it. The Sam kept veering between "WTF?" and "WAAAH, SOB, EMO". Because he's Sam.

He did it BECAUSE HE COULD! I'm sure it seemed like a brilliant idea at the time... NICE manip. Gorgeous ass.

It's scary how it's now CANON that the Doctor mindwipes people and drops them off to where he thinks they'll be happy.

This has got to be one of the best manips I've seen. You both are amazing. I love Sam Tyler and the Doctor so hard. I wish I could sing more praise for the technical side, but besides its obvious extreme difficulty; I know very little about it. However I do know how fucking awesome this is. I can't believe how rare (and how hot) Sam/Doctor is. So seriously to see anything pairing them let alone something so brilliant is.... just yeah.

I knew I got back out of bed for a reason.

When there are two of us bitching at each other about the various details, we tend to put more work into them, I suppose. Having feedback during the manipping process is invaluable anyway, but both of us actually getting our hands on the pic and working on it all the time is even better. And I totally wouldn't have been able to make a pic like this on my own--Gene's ability to create whole rooms out of fucking nowhere is just phenomenal. She makes my jaw hit the floor all the bloody time.

And thank you for commenting! Glad you liked it:D.

Ohhhhh, wow. That's gorgeous.
I think I'll just... stare at it for a while. And speculate.

Is he mad? Is he in a coma? Is his alien ex-boyfriend a complete dick? Whatever's happened, it's like he's landed on someone else's favourite planet.

Glad you like it:D.

Wow, that looks more like a painting than a photograph. In a really good way. Love the colours and the complex spatial composition. This is like one of those short stories that leave you *needing* to know more.

It's INSANELY complicated, spatially. Which is why it really needed a 45eugenia, 'cos I couldn't create anything like this by myself. I don't know how the fuck she manages to create such amazing backgrounds (and foregrounds and furniture and reflections and everything), but it's awesome. She'd basically created Sam's room from scratch when I was still struggling with the first headshot. I suspect black magic is involved somehow.
